Fun, no experience necessary, open to all levels.
Sign up for this 6-week class and learn to make hand built pottery and ceramic sculpture using various techniques such as: pinch, coil and slab construction. This ancient technique requires no special equipment, just your hands and your imagination. Small class size and special attention to your interests. This class is for adults and teens with an interest in working with clay. Classes meet once a week for 2.5 hours and run for 6 weeks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Instructor: Barbara Fiore is a ceramic sculptor whose unique, whimsical works are filled with soul and attitude. Barbara started her artistic career as an illustrator and web designer and has worked for some of the world's most prominent companies and publishers. She has always been inspired by the physical and visual world of animals and nature and has discovered sculpture as the perfect medium to express her vision. Barbara lives and works along the Delaware River in Northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, landscape artist Peter Fiore, and their two dogs.
